Regretfully we have been informed that due to a combined printing and shipping issue the 2021 Sunday Missal delivery has been delayed until the end of January 2021.

Each Christmas we deliver over 100 Christmas food parcels to people in our community who need a hand up. These consist of general food parcel items to help get through the season and also Christmassy items for Christmas day. We ask our community to help us create these by supporting our Paper Bag Appeal. Bags can be collected from our Dunedin shops and parishes and returned.

 

 

The Society of St Vincent de Paul 2020 Christmas cards are available from our shops and parishes now. Wholesale orders are closed.

Due to declining sales and increased printing costs this will be the last year we run this project.

From 19 – 23 October 2020 we ran a very successful free week at our South Dunedin shop. Everything in store was completely free as a service to the community and as an acknowledgement that 2020 has been a tough year for many people. It’s a privilege to part of such a resilient and resourceful community.

Our end of year Festival meeting is taking place on Sunday 29 November 2020. We will celebrate mass at Mercy Parish – Whanau Aroha 11am, followed by a shared lunch in the Mercy Room at the Community Centre. All are welcome.
